The RBSAA offers many ways to get involved with the Rutgers community, on campus and beyond.  No matter your interest, background, hometown, or availability, the RBSAA can connect you to an array of opportunities including mentoring, public speaking, and volunteer work.

We encourage you to be involved with this strong and growing network. Mentors Needed

Rutgers Business School is currently looking for mentors to provide knowledge and advice to current undergraduates.

The Helpful Executives-In-Reach (HEIR) program at Rutgers Business School connects students within each academic department with a Senior Executive within the professional field they are preparing for.

 

Volunteer with your Board of Trustees

All Rutgers Business School Alumni are invited to serve on the Board of Trustees or any of its committees, which offer numerous opportunities to meet and network with other successful business school graduates, develop new skills, cultivate leadership abilities, influence the direction and scope of the RBSAA, and give back to your alma mater.

Committee Responsibilities

Alumni Career Resources Committee provides support for the professional development of RBS alumni and students.

Communications Committee is a resource for other committees and the Officers who need to communicate thru various media to the alumni population and beyond.

Events Committee provides guidance and support to alumni (or other committees) who want to run an event or program.

Nominations Committee identifies and recommends outstanding alumni for Trustee positions either as a Committee Chair or an Officer.

Recognition Committee identify and recommend outstanding RBS alumni for recognition by Rutgers, the RBSAA, and other organizations.

RUAA Liaison acts as a liaison between the RBSAA and the Rutgers University Alumni Association.

Scholarship Committee oversees the various student scholarships and awards funded by the RBSAA.

Technology Committee determines the strategic role of technology in supporting the goals of the RBSAA and provides technical expertise to the Board.

University Outreach: School Administration Liaison Committee acts as the liaison between the RBSAA and the Rutgers Business School Dean’s office as well as to Alumni Relations. They also help coordinate activities between the RBSAA and the Rutgers Business School.

University Outreach: Student Liaison Committee acts as the liaison between the RBSAA and the Rutgers Business School’s Students. They reach out to students to coordinate activities with the RBSAA and educate them about the RBSAA.

Volunteer Outreach Committee maintains the list of RBSAA volunteers, helps align volunteer interests with committee activities, and works with the Nominations Committee to identify potential candidates for Trustee positions.
