Dear Rutgers Business School Alumni Association,

I am writing this letter to offer my sincerest and humble gratitude for selecting me as a recipient of the George R. Esterly Memorial Fellowship. Your generosity has allowed me to continue my education in the part time MBA program for the fall semester.

My goal is to complete the part time MBA program in two years with a concentration in Finance and Strategy. As I have to take more credits during the semester in order to complete my goal, this fellowship reduces the financial burden and stress that is put on me.

Thank you again for your support and generosity. I will work hard and hope that one day, I will be able to provide financial assistance to future MBA students as you have provided for me.

Sincerely,
Rishi Katarizvala

Dear Rutgers Business School Alumni Association,

I am honored to be a recipient of the George R. Esterly Memorial Fellowship. Your generous support will contribute to furthering my graduate education.

My MBA concentration is in Finance; I plan to graduate in the spring of 2019. I will use my degree to transition from a business analyst to manager at New York Life Insurance Company. The MBA program at Rutgers has developed my managerial skills, especially in leadership and presentation. I've already used these skills in my current role and know they will be more critical after I become a manager. The financial assistance you provided will go toward paying my education expenses and allow me to concentrate on becoming an influential leader.

Thank you again for your generosity and support. I promise to learn as much as possible as I work toward reaching my goal.

Sincerely,
Mark Makar

Dear Rutgers Business School Alumni Association,

I am writing to thank you for your generous George R. Esterly Memorial Fellowship. I was elated to be selected as the recipient of this award and truly appreciate your support.

I am currently in my fourth semester of the part-time MBA program, with a concentration in Market Research, Insights and Analytics. I plan to pursue a career in Market Research upon graduating from the program in May 2020. I know that through the course of this program, the knowledge I attain and the network I build will allow me to work for some of the best companies in the country. Thanks to you, I am one step closer to that goal.

By awarding me this fellowship, you have lightened my financial load and allowed me to concentrate on school. In addition, because of your generosity, I am even more motivated to graduate with honors and one day wish to support future Rutgers Business School students by offering them financial support.

Sincerely,
Smrithi Mathew

Dear Rutgers Business School Alumni Association,

I am very honored in being chosen to receive the George R. Esterly Memorial Fellowship. Thank you for your generous award, as I will be able to complete my last year in the Rutgers MBA program with no financial worries.

I have been so grateful to make it this far, as I had dreamed of being accepted into the MBA program for quite some time. Even being a scholarship recipient during the course of my undergraduate program, I still needed to take out loans and work two jobs to cover my remaining college balances. Needless to say, after putting forth such a great deal of effort to earn two Bachelor's degrees and acceptance into two honor societies, I felt privileged to be welcomed into my full-time career as a budget analyst for New Jersey. Although I could not afford to continue my education directly after completing my undergraduate program as I originally intended, working for the Department of the Treasury provided me an opportunity that made the expenses to continue my studies just two years later a little more manageable.

Because providing for myself has always been difficult with the high costs of living in this state, I was motivated to pursue my financial interests and applied to the well-known Rutgers Business School in anticipation of earning an MBA with a concentration in Finance. I am so happy that the commitment I have to my education is verified by the Golden Key International Honour Society invitation and by tremendous support like yours. I look forward to the day I hold this Master's degree in my hands and have the chance to advance my career, my living standards, and hopefully one day, our community.

I appreciate such a generous award that reduces some of the stress that comes along with attendance at such a high-ranking graduate school.

Sincerely,
Alicia Strunck

Dear Rutgers Business School Alumni Association,

I am a 2018 recipient of the George R. Esterly Memorial Fellowship. I was honored to receive this scholarship and am grateful for the opportunities it will provide me. Having attended the Rutgers Business School for my undergraduate studies, it seemed like an easy choice to return to RBS to pursue my MBA. Throughout my time in the program so far, I have learned so much and am excited to continue to learn throughout the remainder of my MBA classes.

I truly do enjoy learning and feel that Rutgers is providing me with the skills and information needed to succeed in the business world. I am very appreciative to be a recipient of this scholarship. It has really helped to lighten my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the reason for being at the Rutgers Business School — to learn. Thank you again!

Sincerely,
Sarah Weigand

It brings me so much to know that I will be entering my senior year as a
scholarship recipient all thanks to you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to
continue my education at Rutgers University as an Accounting and Marketing by
awarding me the Robert & Frances Kaplan Endowed Scholarship, I am a senior
from a small town in New Jersey called Guttenberg. I am also the oldest out of three,
so being a leader and role model for my younger siblings has always been my main
priority. I have also enjoyed giving back and provided legendary customer service.
That is why I will love to become an Auditor for an accounting firm. Without this
scholarship, 1 wouldn't have been able to continue my studies without thinking
about all the student debt I will have once I graduate. It also allows me to focus
more on my studies and being a student leader instead of working most of the time
in my part-time job. Once again thank you for believing in me and awarding me this
scholarship. 1 hope to stay in touch with you while I continue my studies in Rutgers.

Dear George R. Esterly Memorial Scholarship,

I write to express my sincere appreciation for your decision to award me with a $1,000 scholarship. I was very pleased to find out that I was the scholar selected for this generous award.

As you are likely to know, I am a part-time MBA student with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and Marketing. I currently work as a supply chain planner for a generic pharmaceutical company, and I am excited to continue my career applying the principles I've learned and practiced at Rutgers Business School.

This scholarship award has significantly eased my financial burden allowing me to better focus on the three courses I'm enrolled in for the fall semester. Receiving this award inspires me to share the spirit of generosity in my community. After finishing my MBA at Rutgers, I will work to help students reach their goals for success similar to how you've helped me and many others.

Sincerely,
Scott Oliva
